Crime reporting is usually given to newbies? Check. City Hall beat reporting? Check. Society reporting is for lady reporters? Oh, wait, that doesn’t really exist anymore in proper newspapers.
And now for the most priceless line in the video (at 5:22): “Women find it difficult to compete with men in general reporting jobs.” Ohhhhh, sexism. Not cool, 1940 — not cool.
